| Subject: Master Angelus Darkstar Tue Jun 05, 2012 10:22 pm | |
| Physical InformationRace: Human Gender: Male Age: 31; born 169 ABY Name: Angelus Darkstar Height: 5'10" Weight: 172lbs Hair color: Dark brown Eye color: Grey General appearance: - Spoiler:
Take note that in this image, Angelus's robe is all tattered and torn, Angelus wears fine robes, that are often all in good condition; so, please don't expect Angelus to wander around with torn clothing, he doesn't. Also, Angelus's dark-colored robe has various runes like the robes of a Consular. Personal InformationPersonality: First and foremost is Angelus’s celebrated astuteness; he is capable of enlightening others fairly selectively and this wisdom often comes from his own inquisitiveness. Angelus has a cynical view of the force, and often those robustly linked to it, but, he often keeps his views to himself. He highly values past knowledge, and is capable of connecting much of what goes on in the present day to proceedings or even milestones of the past. Angelus’s recollection is astounding, and it has come into play manifold times all the way through his life as a Jedi. He is keen and able to ostensibly predict what is about to unfold, and this innate acuteness really draws others towards him. Angelus keeps to himself often, and the expression on his face is often a bitter or noiseless one, but, as a Master implicated in a one-on-one mentorship, he gradually unveils his philosophy; his Jedi way. Being the Caretaker of First Knowledge, a myriad of Jedi presume or teasingly so, that Angelus isn’t much of a warrior; however this has been edifyingly untrue to those who have witnessed his proficiency by means of the force, and the “way of the mynock”. In combat Angelus’s most perceptible advantages against his opponents is his fortitude and insight. These two factors in any encounter with Angelus ascertain to be what truly earns Angelus a success. Likes: Organization, Unity, Relics of the past, Progress, Order of the Sith Lords, Strength/Power, Travel, Discovery, Motivation, Youth/Vitality, etc… Dislikes: Laziness, Imbalance, Having knowledge but not utilizing that knowledge, etc… Goal(s): Angelus intends to resurrect the Order of the Sith Lords; the Rule of Two, using his vast knowledge of the Force and of the Sith. He is bent on bringing stability to the Galaxy through the wisdom and power he intends to further and obtain. Social InformationNotable Family Members:Romin Darkstar: Angelus’s father; founder of the 2nd Brotherhood of Cognizance on Naboo. He was a benevolent man who always put his son’s prosperity before his own – he made sure to keep the Brotherhood in line, and make his son’s disciplines and study of knowledge virtuous as well. Dinela Darkstar: Angelus’s mother; she was Angelus’s caretaker and playmate while Angelus’s father was out tending to his duties as the pontifex of the 2nd Brotherhood of Cognizance. Notable Friends/Companions/Pets/Droids/Peers/Lovers: -- Notable Master(s): Master Re Frahl; an Omwati; he taught Angelus the meaning of friendship and family, and encouraged Angelus to think creatively, and excel in everything he chooses to pursue. Re Frahl had a lot of confidence in Angelus, and it was due in part to his Omwati master, that he is able to think beyond human-levels, and near Omwati-levels. The two developed various puzzles and codes to follow on missions, and elsewhere, and it worked very well for them for quite a long time. However, in due time… Master Re Frahl was slain in combat. Notable Apprentice(s): Wor; a Zabrak; Wor intrigued Angelus through the display of his energetic determination that never ceased to amaze Angelus while observing Wor’s training regiment. The two developed a close relationship, and though Angelus admired Wor’s energetic and confident spirit, he taught Wor how to suppress his hotheadedness in situations that could work against him entirely, thus making him a more disciplined but strongly-driven Zabrak. When Wor became a Jedi Knight, and ended up becoming a skillful member of the Jedi Peacekeepers, Angelus was satisfied, and since then the two moved on. Sidearm(s): -- Clothing: Master Caesar wears the standard Jedi master robes, however, the color of his robe in particular is a much darker brown then that of his fellow Masters. This coloration often gives Master Caesar more of a somewhat intimidating demeanor in the New Jedi Order. The robe is somewhat scholarly as well with minor designs on the robe, making him appear as though he were a respectable and knowledgeable Jedi master. Gadget(s): -- Armor: -- History & RP-SampleRise of the Sith ArcHomeworld: Dee’ja Peak, Naboo Just a Boy- Spoiler:
Angelus grew up in Dee’ja Peak, Naboo. The town is well-known for its tranquility, and the home of the Brotherhood of Cognizance. Angelus’s father was a man named Romin Caesar; he served as the Pontifex of the Brotherhood of Cognizance. Angelus’s mother was a woman named Dinela, and she was the ideal caretaker for Angelus, more then Romin could’ve ever asked of her. As an infant, Angelus would always smile, and had a particular attraction to flowers, which his father would then use, to describe the “art” in nature. Even as a child, Angelus was clever, and would often get carried away with what his father and mother would teach him, particularly about art in all of its forms. The adults found it funny, and Angelus would often go with it.
From a very young age, Angelus realized he had some sort of a special “gift” but, it was all taboo to him, and he was always afraid to use it, thus keeping it to himself. His affinity to the Force was so strong that it was difficult to hide, especially while lacking the ability to channel it through him properly. It would become most potent during his sessions with the Brotherhood, and this was most likely because the Brotherhood encouraged a very open-mind, and a moral sense of freedom/tranquility.
Sooner or later his father and mother found out, and they of course looked at it as a marvelous form of art… An art that is truly capable of actively involving itself in reality – the Force. Angelus started practicing the Force in Dee’ja Peak, often in the privacy of the Brotherhood of Cognizance sanctuary. However, this secrecy didn’t last for very long when a Jedi Knight, traveling with his Padawan sensed a very strong connection to the force on the surface of Naboo – leading her to Dee’ja Peak.
Angelus didn’t know much about the New Jedi Order’s history prior to arriving on Dee’ja Peak, but, being as inquisitive as he is, he was intrigued by the Jedi and their way of life. Instead of the Jedi Knight having to search for Angelus, Angelus merely appeared before her, little did he know that it was he who the New Jedi Order was looking for, and he who they would take away from his homeworld to the New Jedi Temple on Tython. The Jedi Knight confronted Angelus’s mother and father in their home, and discussed arrangements for Angelus to be delivered safely to the New Jedi Temple on Tython. The parents couldn’t believe their son had such a strong force-potential, because they didn’t really understand the force to begin with, however, due to the various opportunities his son would have, and the wisdom/goals he would learn to achieve, his parents were willing to send their son to Tython with the Jedi Knight and her apprentice. Angelus of course was too young to debate his service with the New Jedi Order at the time, and instead put faith in the New Jedi Order, and the possibilities that his parents revealed to him. Though he was deeply saddened for having to leave his family and friends behind, he would learn to appreciate what the New Jedi Order had to offer to him, and open him up to.
With a final kiss goodbye, Angelus was gone… Life as a Padawan - Spoiler:
Angelus excelled rather quickly as a Jedi Initiate, however, he did not develop the social skills most Initiates learn simply by practicing with others. His Jedi Masters admired his determination, and calmness, but, they felt that his seclusion from his peers could bite them in the butt in the future. The moment they told the young Angelus about how much access he has to the Jedi Archives, was the moment he entered the Archives enthusiastically. The Masters figured that they couldn’t force someone to be more socially-oriented, but, they could encourage someone to do something beneficial for themselves, like read a variety of books that primarily revolve around the Jedi, their History and events throughout the Galaxy they were involved in.
As a Padawan he was known for spending the majority of his time achieving a form of enlightenment through texts; ancient and present-day texts. It was here that he first met his late Omwati master, Re Frahl; Re Frahl admired Angelus’s devotion to learning, but, figured Angelus may not have been enjoying life at the same time, or spending it for the betterment of not only his mind, but, his heart as well; because of his interests in the young boy, Re Frahl chose Angelus as his Jedi Padawan – at the time, Angelus was simply glad that he was safe from having to become a member of some field in the Jedi Service Corps. But, he would learn to appreciate his master’s wisdom, intellect and general aura.
As a means of teaching Angelus how to be a better Jedi, Re Frahl often brought Angelus all over the Galaxy, to better understand various worlds, their history, culture, cuisine and most of all, their people. Angelus did enjoy his time exploring the Galaxy with his Master, and he spirit certainly lightened up, beginning to make those around him want to see him, talk with him, pull jokes on him, play with him, etc… He was learning that there is more to a Jedi then intellectual pursuit, and their connection with the Force. It wouldn’t be until a couple of years later, that Angelus would ask his Master why he decided to better teach him the Jedi way and about the Force through exploration of various worlds. His Master replied, “The people you’ve met, the places you’ve seen, the bond we share, all of them stem from the force, and all of them are examples of what the Jedi protect.” Now, it would be just another Jedi proverb if it weren’t coming from Master Re Frahl, but, Re Frahl made sure Angelus realized what the Jedi strove to safeguard with their lives; he made sure to demonstrate that a Jedi is willing to die for the peace and prosperity of the Galaxy and all of its inhabitants. Re Frahl’s wisdom would stick to Angelus in some way, shape or form even into the present.
At around the age of 15, Angelus’s parents were killed during a terrorist attack of the Capital Building in Dee’ja Peak. His father and mother were expecting an audience with the House of Representatives, and their chairman has the power to deliver the message directly to the Senate, and then, to the Queen – so, it was a significant discussion, and involved turning the Brotherhood of Cognizance’s sanctuary into a Jedi Academy. In the middle of this discussion however, a bomb went off. The Representatives and Senators knew to evacuate the building, however, Angelus’s father remained behind, there were still a few Representatives who would’ve been unable to escape with their lives if they didn’t get out immediately; instead of getting out themselves, Angelus’s parents helped clear the way for those unable to move due to the impact of the explosion. They managed to get the majority of them out, however, in the distance was a child left behind in the wild crowd of Representatives, Senators and Citizens also seeking an audience with the latter. They got the child, but, there was only a small opening left to slip the child through, and outside of the inferno of a building in enough time, so, Angelus’s mother did just that, and the two were lit aflame.
Angelus’s parents are recognized as heroes of Naboo, and a monument has been built up in the town center’s plaza in Dee’ja Peak, also, the Naboo Senate have issued a Jedi Academy’s construction in Dee’ja Peak also in their honor. When Angelus heard of this news he had to go to the site of their deaths for himself, Master Re Frahl, being the good Omwati he was, went with his Padawan on this very personally damaging journey. The two visited the monument together, and Angelus honored his parent’s memory with tears, with Master Re Frahl comforting him at his side. Angelus regretted never having visited his parents. Fortunately for Angelus, he had Master Re Frahl supporting him, and giving him comfort. The two stayed in Naboo for a week, and Angelus had actually used the time to teach Master Re Frahl some things about Naboo’s culture, people and the monastic order he was raised by for a few years. The two had a good time, and it also served as a learning experience for both master and apprentice. Life as a Jedi Knight - Spoiler:
At Angelus’s Knighting Ceremony, it was his elderly master, Re Frahl, who cut his knot – signifying his maturity with the force and its practice, as well as his role as a Jedi, their way and philosophy. Now a serene disciple of Re Frahl, he saw the world in a different, brighter view. It was around this time that Angelus was elected into the Council of First Knowledge as perhaps the Council of First Knowledge’s youngest member in history, post-Legacy Era. His involvement with not only texts at the library, but holocrons dating from the old way, sparked his interest as a Jedi Researcher. He wanted to be out in the field, and experience History in all of its glory, the creation, discovery and presentation of it all – a move that Re Frahl pulled when he was young. Using his knowledge of various cultures, he knew where to go to delve deeper into seemingly-archaic pursuits.
Out on the field, he met various other Jedi and their purposes, and even encountered the Dark Jedi more then once. Also, he realized how much more actively his role toward preserving the peace of the Galaxy became with these experiences; for example, he would often return stolen objects to museums, aid scholars in their curiosities by using his jurisdiction as a Jedi Researcher for a University’s cause. Basically, he provided the galaxy with knowledge, objects, perspectives, etc… vital to its survival and productivity.
Angelus was able to find utility in the smallest of things, and use that discovery to create something new, something better for the people of the galaxy, or whatever world this discovery was made on. His active involvement with the galaxy often got him into conflicts with local authorities, Dark Jedi and/or fauna. So, while his intellectual pursuits were nice, and the fact that he incorporated his passion into them to serve a purpose was better then “nice” he was also increasing his finesse in combat, utilizing the Force in a way to defend himself masterfully. This hands-on practice is what led him to pursue the mastery of Form II – he realized how vital a powerful defense was, and how much of an ally patience can be, also how much of an enemy it can be, and to be careful with waiting for an opportunity to strike.
Angelus continued to impress the New Jedi Order’s various masters, and his fellow Jedi Knights really enjoyed aiding him on his adventures, and learning from the experiences they would share. Re Frahl was so very proud of his star pupil, and the two would often have get-together’s when it came to meditation, debate, instruction, etc… By now, Angelus really looked at Re Frahl like the grandfather he never had. Still the two would go on missions together, and sometimes Re Frahl would give him leadership roles, which bettered his charisma and his pursuit for the mastery of force powers like battle meditation.
Unfortunately for the New Jedi Order, and Angelus especially, it would be on one of these missions that Master Re Frahl’s life would tragically meet its end. While Re Frahl, Angelus and fellow Jedi Knights were all within a Jedi freighter, heading toward Adari, a planet rumored to have been attacked recently by Dark Jedi – members of the Dark Side Scourge. On their way to the Adari System they had been caught up in the Ambria System, and it was above the world, that they were suddenly ambushed by 3 starfighters of the Dark Side Scourge. The Jedi Ace and his co-pilot both worked hard trying to fend off the Starfighters, but, do to their ruthless maneuverability, their deflectors only served as a stall for the inevitable. Re Frahl managed to use combustion on a Starfighter, but, soon after, their freighter was crashing down into Ambria’s atmosphere.
The Jedi freighter crash landed, but, fortunately, the majority of the Jedi survived the crash using the defensive aspects of the Force. They crash-landed on a desolate, old world, called Ambria, which served partly as a dark side nexus, its Lake Natth anyways. Just when the Jedi thought they were in the clear, two Starfighters from earlier hovered downward on their position, firing away all the while. Their proton torpedoes served to utterly destroy the majority of the Jedi Knights with Re Frahl and Angelus. Only four Jedi remained alive, two Jedi Knights, Re Frahl and Angelus.
Angelus had used force push on one of the Dark Jedi’s starships; however, the Dark Jedi countered Angelus’s force push with a force throw back at him. Master Re Frahl stepped in Angelus’s way, and force threw the Starfighter away from their position. “…The Adarians told us that the Jedi were coming our way. They’ll talk rather quickly with a lightsaber to their neck.” The Dark Jedi ignited his lightsaber, and started walking slowly toward Angelus and Master Re Frahl. From behind the two, a lightsaber was thrown at Angelus and Master Re Frahl’s position. They both sensed it in enough time to avoid being severed in two, and they both realized that diplomacy wasn’t an option. Master Re Frahl attacked the Sister that had thrown her lightsaber at him, and Angelus readied himself against the Brother.
The two had been doing well, and Angelus hadn’t realized that his Master’s duel was leading them beyond the area their duels began. Angelus was dealt a blow by the opponent’s force lightning, because his Master’s duel concerned him. Where is she leading him? Is he aware of it? Angelus of course cried out in pain, but, his Master kept getting farther and farther away from his position. Angelus’s defensively-oriented form proved unhelpful for his elderly Master, and his duel against the Brother continued for quite some time, but, eventually concluded with the Brother’s death by Angelus’s hand. He rushed in the direction of his Master and his duel with the Sister, and when he finally reached the two, Master Re Frahl had the Sister pinned down, at the bank of Lank Natth. Angelus rushed to his master’s aid, but, because his Master hesitated from killing the Sister, she managed to jump back, into Lake Natth. When she came out, Force Rage was activated and fueled by the darkest core of Ambria. Master Re Fahl did all he could, but, before Angelus reached him, the Sister killed his master. Angelus was devastated, and he drew the attention of the Sister.
Reaching deep within himself, he managed to use his knowledge and understanding of the force to keep up a strong, defensive aura, whilst retrieving the corpse of his late Omwati Jedi Master. When he got out of range of the Sister’s reach while being connected to Lake Natth, she pursued him anyways. In a clearing, Angelus placed his master’s body down, and focused his attention to the Sister. “I counsel you leave to exchange blows another day, murky one.” He warned her as tears trickled down his face. “I cannot do that, recurring to my Matron without my mission complete will only make me a weakling in the eyes of my family unit; and I will not become a weakling.” She charged at him using Form VII. With incredible precision, Angelus used force whirlwind to drape the dark Jedi in a spiraling vortex. While she spun faster and faster, Angelus ruthlessly finished her off with one, impressive force push sending her flying meters away.
After his clash with the dark Jedi, he hijacked a Dark Side Scourge starfighter, and flew off with his Master’s corpse. Later, his Master would be cremated like all senior members of the New Jedi Order were in ceremony. Angelus’s Apprentice - Spoiler:
After losing his family, be his mother and father or his Jedi Master, Angelus fell into depression. This depression was notable, and after Angelus comes to realize it, he changed his “person” forever. Angelus lacked the vitality he once had as a Jedi Researcher, and no longer openly shared his thoughts and feelings to those he didn’t trust, or feared he would lose. So, instead of finding vitality in himself, he found it in a young Zabrak warrior named Wor. Wor was always so full of energy, straightforward and often hot-headed around his peers. Angelus observed how Wor was so much unlike him when he was around Wor’s age, and applauded that fact – Wor’s attitude brought a smile to Angelus’s face. When Wor first confronted Angelus, he praised Angelus for being the one to discover Mace Windu’s holocron that he finalized before the Battle of Geonosis. Wor told Angelus how Mace Windu was one of his favorite figures in history, and when Angelus started educating him more about Mace Windu, up until the point they’d share their own debates, Wor truly wanted Angelus to be his Master. Angelus did choose Wor as his apprentice, realizing how happy he was around the youthful Zabrak.
The two went on various adventures together, and Wor proved to be a warrior with excellent combat skills and instinct, however, he lacked control over his hotheadedness. Throughout a series of various, often minor conflicts a Jedi Knight and his/her Padawan face, it was Wor who would often speak out of turn, and/or charge at his enemy without analyzing his surroundings and target(s) as well as the consequences of one move over another. Much of Angelus’s training regiment put Wor in situations where he’d have to think things through, and if he didn’t he would often suffer the consequences of his careless actions. This sort of training, though seemingly cold-hearted, worked out for Wor as Angelus had intended it to. Wor maintained his headstrong personality, but it was refined and focused – set on an objective, not simply fuming all around him.
Wor ended up becoming a Jedi Knight when Angelus felt he was ready to and the Jedi High Council were impressed by Wor’s enlightenment, and control over himself; thus they recognized Angelus as a plausible candidate for Jedi Master rank. It was Angelus who cut his Padawan braid. Wor ended up becoming a Jedi Peacekeeper, and tends to enjoy serving people on other worlds who could actually use a Jedi’s aid to achieve a greater purpose, and Angelus was most satisfied with how his apprentice turned out. Jedi Master Darkstar - Spoiler:
After the Jedi High Council realized Angelus’s mastery over the force, and his understanding of the way of the Jedi, they openly requested his audience; after all, he had been a Jedi Knight for a few years, and recovered from a tragic loss through a prominent Padawan. As a Master, he was placed in plenty of leadership roles, particularly on Jedi expeditions to various worlds containing a historical past of the Jedi Order. Being recognized as a leader, Angelus earned a lot of respect from his subordinates and peers. He was elected as the Caretaker of the First Knowledge Council, due to his vast knowledge and understanding of the Jedi, as well as his experience with the First Knowledge Council.
At some point in time, Angelus was called upon for aid in suppressing a rising, rebellious force of Geonosians. This event would go down as the Conflict at Geonosis; caused by the lower castes of the Geonosians seeking a representative in the Geonosian Council, which had consisted of aristocrats only since their culture’s beginning. Of course, the New Jedi Order’s intervention wasn’t a necessity for a while, up until the point when the worker caste started betraying the warrior caste, and the noble caste that the warriors served. The order of the Hives on Geonosis was imbalanced, and the aristocracy needed the New Jedi Order’s aid since Geonosis wasn’t a member of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances.
Master Caesar was one of the leaders of the team of Jedi sent out to suppress the rebel uprising, but, another Master, a Togrutan named Cheva, was truly the leader, for she was in fact a Jedi Diplomat and handled these conflicts rather frequently. When Master Cheva and Master Caesar arrived with their team of Jedi, they hadn’t expected the destruction before them. Before they knew it, they were in the middle of a battle well within the central Hive of Geonosis. Swiftly, Master Cheva was killed in the defense, and it became Master Caesar’s responsibility to deal with this threat. The Jedi struck, and struck hard. Master Caesar believed that only if the rebels were defeated here and now could they prevent the same revolting behavior outside of the central Hive.
Eventually, the majority of the rebels were killed, and the rest were forced to comply with the aristocrats, and return to their social order, for the Geonosians believed that without a caste system Geonosis would not exist as it does today. These workers didn’t go unwarranted primarily because of Master Caesar’s wisdom and understanding of Geonosian history; he reminded the people that even lower class Geonosians can rise to prominence if they have the ambition to do so, and without the need for unnecessary bloodshed, despite the arena the Geonosians often used to prove their worth.
During this conflict, Master Caesar met a young Jedi Padawan who really demonstrated her sense of morality, and her determination; she had admirable determination, so admirable that she often reminded Master Caesar of his successful apprentice, Wor. Along the way, he would confront this same Jedi Padawan more then once, and she would later become a Jedi Knight. Master Caesar attended her Knighting Ceremony even, but, he was not the one who cut her braid.
Further down the road, Master Caesar proved that he was vital for the completion of missions directly issued from the Jedi High Council. They placed him in charge of the majority of their Order’s expeditions into worlds that may or may not contain objects of knowledge; relics of the past. In a way these various expeditions had somewhat of a negative impact on Master Caesar, for it was in the midst of these expeditions that he would discover knowledge he shouldn’t have, but, knowledge valuable to the New Jedi Order all at the same time. Along the way he started combating Brothers and Sisters of the Dark Side Scourge, but, he would often use these challenges as learning experiences that could further his knowledge of the dark side of the force, or objects relating to them. Master Caesar became a recognizable obstacle for the expansion of Dark Side Scourge influence, and various attempts on his life had been committed, though, he proved superior to many members of the Dark Side Scourge more then once. Angelus’s Quest for Darth Revan’s Armor - Spoiler:
As Angelus’s hunger for not only Jedi knowledge, but, Sith knowledge increased, he became more and more of an inquisitor, ready to take risks for the sake of bettering himself, and the force with him. Sith knowledge was becoming an inspiration to him, and the moment he came across Revan’s rusty-red gauntlets, he knew that it was he who would revive the Sith. He chose to continue his pursuit of objects relating to Darth Revan because Darth Revan was recognized as the founder of the Rule of Two, and it was Revan who founded the ‘Darth’ title alongside his apprentice, Darth Malak. Angelus believed strongly in the Rule of Two, and its potential; he reflected on the success of late Sith Lords that abided by the Rule Revan had affirmed – even in death. Angelus’s quest for Revan’s armor began, and he traveled all across the Galaxy using his jurisdiction as a Jedi Researcher to get him in places unavailable to Jedi. He managed to bypass the Council’s various rules. Angelus taught himself Force Concealment, for it would better his ambition’s secrecy.
On his own, he traveled even to old Sith worlds, and though he found the majority of Revan’s armor, he was unable to find Revan’s mask very easily. Using the aid of a Jedi Investigator, his ambition led him to the Mandalore System. He infiltrated the Jedi Watchman’s space station, centered in a position that would allow him to oversee the Mandalore System and its daily routine. The Jedi Investigator, another Human, was with Angelus. Angelus managed to reach the Jedi Watchman himself, and it was here that the questioning began. The Jedi Watchman was a strong man, but, he was unable to resist Angelus’s mastery over mental distortion and manipulation. Eventually, the Jedi Watchman revealed how safekeeping Revan’s mask was a tradition dating back thousands of years, and how it was only accessible through a strict code-module wired in the ruins of the old Mandalorian base on Dxun. The Jedi Watchman gave Angelus the code. Afterward, Angelus cut down the Jedi Watchman, and killed the Jedi Investigator who now understood what it was Angelus was looking for. Before a commotion could start, Angelus escaped the space station, and headed toward Dxun.
On Dxun, Angelus faced many perils; he had to go through a series of tunnels to get to the clan Ordo ruins. It was in this tunnel, that Angelus faced his old master, Re Frahl. Re Frahl’s force ghost warned Angelus that the path he was following would lead to his own destruction, and advised Angelus to turn back from the direction he was headed, and destroy Darth Revan’s armor once and for all. Angelus couldn’t simply throw away all he had worked for now; and already, he had treaded too deeply into the mysteries of the dark side – the Sith. Angelus passionately struck his old master’s force ghost down, and his master faded away in a blur – Angelus knew he couldn’t turn back, even if he wanted to now.
He made it to the Ordo ruins, and began scavenging the place for any signs of Revan’s archaic mask, which once belonged to Mandalore the Indomitable. He discovered a holocron nearby a vault that was practically closed in by the structure around it. After activating the holocron, Mandalore the Preserver revealed that he brought the mask back to the Ordo ruins after no one had the power to claim the title for themselves with the same mask in his elderly years. He said that whoever found this was worthy of being deemed as great as its previous bearers but explained it had no claim over the Mandalorian people since their culture had probably moved on by now without the mask – as it had. Behind the holovid of Mandalore the Preserver would be the cache it was located in, Angelus hoped he hadn’t come all this way for nothing.
When he entered the cache, Revan’s mask – appearing as it had when Mandalore the Preserver wore it, rested before Angelus. He took hold of the mask, and returned to the Jedi Temple on Tython. Angelus modeled the mask as it had appeared when Darth Revan wore it, and then, he fitted the entire armor on himself with the aid of an engineer’s knowledge. Still however, he would not wear it, for, the moment he would, a surge of dark side energy would most likely unleash itself on whichever world he was surfaced on, and also, he wasn’t prepared to entitle himself Dark Lord of the Sith – not yet.
Angelus kept Revan’s armor in his own care, and at his own risk, and though the Jedi High Council had their suspicions, there was no trace of dark side influence over Angelus, and nothing remains found in Angelus’s dormitory of the Temple. The influence of the dark side in the Jedi Temple remains sealed. Treachery - Spoiler:
Sometime after he discovered all of Darth Revan’s armor, Angelus confronted the Dark Side Scourge, tracking them down with the aid of two Jedi Shadows, and after an extensive period of time, who he then eliminated. When Angelus first confronted the Dark Side Scourge on Vurdon Ka, he was challenged by a variety of eager Sons and Daughters, who he bested with ease; it wasn’t until after their defeat that a couple Brothers and Sisters arrived on the scene. They questioned Angelus’s presence on Vurdon Ka, and one was about ready to skewer Angelus altogether. Angelus explained that he wasn’t here on opposition to the Dark Side Scourge, but the New Jedi Order, and wanted an audience with their Mother.
One of the Sisters ordered Angelus to prove his worth by defeating her in a duel. Angelus accepted her challenge, and their battle began. The duel itself lasted for about thirty minutes, and the Sister was defeated because of Angelus’s patience in battle, it was much unlike their way to have patience – but, Angelus was a special case, he was raised by the New Jedi Order, not the Dark Jedi.
The rest of the Brothers and Sisters escorted Angelus to their Mother, and it was here that Angelus spoke to Mother Abitha about being their spy in the New Jedi Order, in exchange for more dark side knowledge that she may possess – and that this partnership would stem down other generations of Dark Side Scourge leaders. Mother Abitha assured him that they would, and that she’d further his knowledge of the dark side, so, there it began. Now, Angelus served as an agent of darkness as much as an agent of the light. He continued to uphold the role, always in secret. Excavation on Korriban - Spoiler:
After the New Jedi Order and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances held a meeting on Lao-mon (which Master Caesar attended) they concluded that in order to stop the Sith they’d have to explore Korriban for traces of the Dark Side, and how to repel it in the near-future, thus, preventing an outbreak of the Sith from ever even beginning. The New Jedi Order agreed to this, and assigned Masters to various Teams of Jedi, who would aid in their exploration and discovery on Korriban to see how it all turns out until they choose to expand their discovery on other dark side worlds for the first time in galactic history. Master Caesar was put in charge of the excavation of Korriban, for the New Jedi Order trusted him, and he had a lot of experience dealing with probable artifacts in various worlds – also, he was the Caretaker of First Knowledge, so, who would be better then him?
Angelus took this as a chance to expand his knowledge of the dark side, and the Sith – since Korriban was their homeworld in the past. Present-day - Spoiler:
Angelus first and foremost serves as the Caretaker of First Knowledge, and though he tends to isolate himself from the Jedi High Council, people suspect his allegiance to the New Jedi Order is strong since he remains a respectable prodigy of the New Jedi Order, and has helped the New Jedi Order and the High Council in particular, expand their knowledge of the Galaxy long after the fall of the old Jedi Order. Often, it becomes Angelus’s duty to supervise various Jedi, alongside other Jedi Masters for the sake of obtaining dark side knowledge, and he has proven an excellent candidate for chief- excavator of Korriban.
Angelus hasn’t shown interest in having another apprentice for a few years now, and instead, teaches Initiates in his spare time, and shares knowledge with the Jedi High Council after debating the knowledge with the Council of First Knowledge.
On a shadier note, Angelus visits the Dark Side Scourge on Vurdon Ka from time-to-time with knowledge of the New Jedi Order, and its progression. He has been doing this for a while, since the last Mother of the Dark Side Scourge was in charge. Obviously he is a useful tool for the Dark Side Scourge, though; he doesn’t carry out missions for them or actively get involved with their quarrels. Even now, Darth Revan’s archaic armor remains in his possession, and hidden from the Galaxy – the New Jedi Order in particular. Angelus’s ambition still remains strong within him, and though it is a lot to achieve, he intends to do so with patience… Perhaps his deadliest trait. RP-Sample: - Spoiler:
