NOTE: The ranks of the factions below will be listed from the highest rank to the lowest rank.

New Jedi Order

The New Jedi Order started re-establishing itself a few years after Cade Skywalker finalized Darth Krayt's defeat along with the defeat of what was left of the One Sith. Eventually it would be Na-Uno-Mani who would be elected as the New Jedi Order's 4th Grand Master of the New Jedi Order, who would later fully establish the New Jedi Order on Tython. Since then, the Act of Transmission has been passed, and the Jedi High Council as well as the Chief of State of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances (GFFA) and/or his/her Representatives have visited on various"Transmitter Worlds" throughout the Galaxy, to heighten their combined strength, while ensuring that peace is in mind. Despite this, the New Jedi Order work independently from the GFFA for as Luke Skywalker said, "Jedi serve the people, they do not govern them." Continually, the New Jedi Order seeks to spread their teachings and further their influence throughout the entire Galaxy to ensure that the majority of the force-sensitives in the Galaxy don't fall under the Dark Side's sway. With threats from a vicious Dark Side Cult often biting at the New Jedi Order and the GFFA, the Jedi often keep themselves busy.

Jedi Grand Master; Master of the Order: The Grand Master title is the title given to the recognized Head of the entire New Jedi Order. It is often this person recognized as Grand Master, and elected by the Jedi High Council for his/her vast wisdom and oneness with the Light Side of the Force. Since the New Jedi Order and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances don't share any authority over the other, it is often the Jedi Grand Master who leads the New Jedi Order in the right direction with the aid and support of the Jedi High Council. Though the Grand Master is the recognized Head of the New Jedi Order, he doesn't have any authority or control over the Jedi High Council's decisions, but, he/she is often highly regarded within the Jedi High Council making his/her wisdom vital to the Jedi High Council's own prosperity. As Master of the Order, the Jedi Grand Master decides the meeting place of the Jedi High Council and the circumstances of the meeting.

1.

Jedi High Councilor: The Jedi High Council consists of 12 of the most wise and experienced Jedi of the Order. Only Masters are even brought up for election as members of the Jedi High Council. Five of these 12 Jedi Councilors hold life-terms, 4 of the 12 hold long-terms, and 3 of the 12 held short-terms, thereby getting a different perspective of the Galaxies events within the Jedi High Council. The Jedi High Councilor serves the Jedi High Council and guide the New Jedi Order in the right direction alongside the Grand Master. They all serve as the New Jedi Order's legislative body.

1.

Jedi Master: The Jedi Masters of the New Jedi Order were once Knights who successfully trained a Padawan long enough for the Padawan to move on and become a Jedi Knight him/herself. By fully training a Jedi Padawan to become his/her own Knight, the Jedi Knight demonstrated his dedication to the New Jedi Order and its future well-being. It also demonstrated responsibility and a heightened understanding of the Force. Jedi Masters are often given the responsibility to instruct Jedi Initiates, tend to leadership roles during wartime, share their knowledge and understanding of the force or even choose to teach yet another Padawan in the ways of the force.

1.

Jedi Knight: After spending an extensive period of one-on-one training with a Jedi Knight, a Jedi Padawan would be given the opportunity to attempt the Jedi Trials if deemed ready by his/her master. After completing the tests put forth, the Jedi Padawan's braid would be severed by a member of the Jedi High Council in the presence of the Jedi High Council signifying his step into Knighthood. No longer attached to a master, the Jedi Knight will be able to accept missions from the Jedi High Council, follow a particular specialization in his/her role as a Jedi and would be expected to take part in the New Jedi Order's battle against forces that threatened the peace of the Galaxy. He/She would also be given the opportunity to choose and train a Jedi Padawan if he/she were seeking the rank of Jedi Master.

1.

2.

3.

Jedi Padawan: After a Jedi Initiate was selected by a Jedi Knight or a Jedi Master to be trained in the ways of force they would be given the title of Jedi Padawan. Padawans were typically taken at adolescence and completed their training away from the Academy under his/her Master's tutelage. The Jedi Padawans of a hair-growing species would wear a long braid of hair behind their ear; non-haired Padawans were encouraged to wear a type of jeweler, a tattoo, or other body modification.

1.

2.

3.

4.

Jedi Initiate (Youngling or "Jedi Hopeful"): The youngest members of the Order, these Force-sensitive children are given the rank of Initiate when they begin their communal training in clans. Recruited from worlds throughout the galaxy where blood testing was required upon birth, Initiates are removed from their families and brought to a Jedi academy for formal training.

1.

2.

Dark Side Scourge

After the fall of Krayt's One Sith, and the defeat of his 2nd coming at the hands of Cade Skywalker, the remnants of the Sith who had served Darth Krayt either went into refuge, or were killed in an attempt for a desperate last resort against the fleet main fleet of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force led by a Duros Admiral, Gar Stazi - those desperate, remaining Sith were devastated by the number of Starships under Roan Fel and Admiral Stazi's command. Eventually however, a former Sith Lord of the One Sith, and perhaps their last, a Human male known as Darth Null was charismatic enough to rally various dark side practitioners whom he found primarily in refuge on popular worlds. Eventually, they all united within a cave on the moss-world of Vurdon Ka which was for the most part outside of Galactic affairs after the Yuuzhan Vong conquered it. When Darth Null, now named "Kraufgar" surfaced on Vurdon Ka, the unexpected Vuvrian people welcomed him with an open mind. When he revealed the rest of his followers or so called "Children" to the peaceful Vuvrians, Kraufgar and his followers had rushed toward the Vuvrian leader, and held him hostage. Immediately the Vuvrians surrendered to Kraufgar fearing the consequence of opposing him, or calling on foreign aid. Since then, Kraufgar and his followers remain centered within a fortress on Vurdon Ka, and live a "higher life" there as well, with the status of lords, and the Vuvrian people as their oppressed servants. After Kraufgar finally died of illness, a "Father" of the Dark Side Scourge took power, and since then it is either a "Father" or "Mother" who lead the growing dark side cult. Their presence on Vurdon Ka remains a mystery to the New Jedi Order and the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances because the Dark Side Scourge often operate beyond the Darlonn Sector of which the Vurdon Ka System is located.

Dark Father/Mother: The Dark Father/Mother holds the power similar to a Sith Lord. They reject the title "Darth" due to it being too easily recognized with the Sith and in turn refer to themselves as Father -- or Mother --. The Father or Mother is either the direct descendant of Grandfather Kraufgar, Founder of the Dark Side Scourge, or the fiercest pupil of his direct descendant(s). Either way it is the Father or Mother who rules over the Dark Side Scourge with an iron fist. The Father/Mother always has the final say, and refers to his/her more experienced members as Brothers/Sisters while others are not so well regarded.

1.

Brother/Sister: The Brothers and Sisters of the Dark Side Scourge serve as the majority of the Sith Cult's more experienced dark-siders. These members strive to one day overpower the Father/Mother of the Dark Side Scourge, and take the title for themselves - which often leads to internal strife. When the Father/Mother calls for a conference it is a select few Brothers/Sisters who are able to attend.

1.

2.

3.

Son/Daughter: The Sons and Daughters of the Dark Side Scourge serve as the individuals being directly taught the path of the dark side through missions and intense training often under and/or alongside their superiors. They intend to catch the attention of the Father/Mother of the Dark Side Scourge in order to be granted a promotion within the Sith Cult, and being recognized as a Brother/Sister instead.

1.

2.

Nephew/Niece: The Nephews and Nieces are the Dark Side Scourge outcasts deemed too weak to be recognized as "Children" of the Dark Side Scourge. In order to prove their worth, they first must prove themselves worthy of a Brother/Sister's attention so that that Nephew/Niece can attend formal lessons with other Nephews/Nieces and in turn becoming recognized as some of the so-called "Children" of the Dark Side Scourge. The Nephews/Nieces are often young compared to the average age of most members of the Dark Side Scourge.

NOTE: Members of the below Factions are unable to role-play as Force-sensitives within those Factions.

Galactic Federation of Free Alliances; Galactic Alliance Defense Force

The Galactic Federation of Free Alliances was reaffirmed after the One Sith were all but totally destroyed. Their governmental structure remained the same with a strong sense of checks & balances and more qualified members of the Judicial branch of the GFFA. The Galactic Alliance Defense Force (GADF) served as the military body of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances, and was led by a Supreme Commander appointed by the Chief of State, and approved by the Senate. It has increased in number, and has been disciplined to be in strict service and dedication of the will of their Federal Republic. They are all trained to serve the people through physically defending the Galactic Alliance Common Charter on the battlefield. Since the fall of the One Sith, crime rates have dropped, and order has once more been instilled on worlds affiliated with the GFFA.

Chief of State: The Chief of State is the President of the Senate, and civilian Commander-in-Chief of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force. The Chief of State is given the responsibility to create and/or pass laws of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances (though the Senate can intervene), act as the GFFA's chief diplomat, in charge of all Councils that he/she attends which involve the GFFA's galactic affairs, create alliances, direct the military as well as remain updated on the status of reconnaissance and grant them direction and can even veto laws worked up by the Senate (though the rejection of a law could be overpowered by the Senate).

1.

Senator: A Senator makes sure to [alongside other Senators] keep the executive branch of the Galactic Federation of Free Alliances in check by having the power to pass their own laws or override the Chief of State's, as well as serving as advisers to the Chief of State when the Chief of State tends to his leadership duties. The Chief of State often requires the Senates consent in order to fully go on with his/her duties. A Senator represents a single Planet, or an entire Sector - giving them a lot of sway in the political game.

1.

2.

Supreme Commander: The Supreme Commander is left in direct command over the Galactic Alliance Defense Force and its operations. He/She is the one who makes the most dramatic decisions involving the military. During wartime it is the Supreme Commander who knows [most] about military strategy, and is often left in charge of it while the Chief of State and the Senate tend to their political roles. The Supreme Commander has jurisdiction over all servicemen and servicewomen of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force unless the Chief of State gets actively directs it (though with the Supreme Commander often at his/her side). Far and wide, the Galaxy look up to the Supreme Commander as the one who ultimately knows what he/she's doing in wartime. It is the Supreme Commander who also leads entire Theatres often with the aid of Admirals/Generals.

1.

Admiral/General: The Admiral or General serve as the direct leaders of the largest divisions of a military's organization. The Admiral is left in charge of a Naval fleet in Space or on the Sea and a General is left in charge of an Army Region on Land. In the Galactic Alliance Defense Force all Admirals are qualified Generals, and all Generals are qualified Admirals. The Admiral/General have jurisdiction and command over all ranks subordinate to them, however, they often serve as advisers and enforcers of the overreaching Supreme Commander's strategical mind.

1.

Lieutenant: The Lieutenant consent an Admiral/General's military organization, and often devise some of their own to support the Admiral/General's. They've risen up in the ranks as pilots and/or infantrymen, and have been recognized and elected by the Admirals/Generals of a particular Planet or Sector in the service of an Admiral/General or as a Captain. Once elected, they serve as the advisory to the Admiral/General who elected them, and often get more involved with large-scale military operations and earning jurisdiction over the Captains under the Admiral/General's Fleet/Theatre. Lieutenant's are given entry into a Military Academy after serving as a Lieutenant for an extensive period of time in order to become Admirals and/or Generals. Lieutenants may be given the opportunity to lead armed forces the size of a Field Army.

1.

Captain: The Captain is often in charge of a Company or Division that can be well within the range of 100,000 militants. Often, with enough experience a Captain may be in charge of a special squadron or a small, but elite platoon of soldiers. There are a lot of Captains within the Galactic Alliance Defense Force, and they are often the ones given the order, and left in charge of keeping their servicemen and servicewomen a live, and at their fullest capacity.

1.

2.

Major: These men and women are the elite within a unit left under the command of a Captain. They often serve as a Captain's aide and work towards sharing a Captain's common goal - the survival of his/her soldiers and the completion of their objective. They have jurisdiction over Privates and Sergeants, but, their jurisdiction can be override by their Captain's own.

1.

2.

Sergeant: The Sergeants of the Galactic Alliance Defense Force are recognized as the more experienced fighters of the GADF, and thus more highly regarded by their superiors. These soldiers are no longer new to a soldier's way of life, and most likely have been serving the GADF on the battlefield or as Galactic police for an extensive period of time.

1.

Private: The Privates are fresh from military training at various outposts stationed throughout the Galaxy. They've only just begun their lives as soldiers, and are often victims to many jokes, especially from Sergeants, Majors and Captains. They strive to prove their worthiness on the battlefield, and one day be recognized as a full-fledged soldier, earning their promotion.

1.

Bounty Hunter's Guild

The Bounty Hunter's Guild was an organization of a variety of ambitious Bounty Hunter's from all over the Galaxy that wanted to further the amount of credits they earned, and thus, more wealthy or notable clients. These Bounty Hunter's would also be given head starts on bounties before the majority of Bounty Hunter's could go after them themselves by hearing of bounties on news broadcasts. Each member of the Bounty Hunter's Guild adhere to the Guildmaster and Guild Council's Bounty Hunter's Creed to some degree. There are few Bounty Hunter's who fail to abide by the Guild's rules and that is how the Guild often creates enemies. There are various "Houses" within the Guild itself, and the members of these Houses often share the wealth with one another, and tend to one another's aid, developing friendships and rivalries with other Houses - however, ultimately, these Houses strive to be recognized as the most formidable House, thus being rewarded with the opportunity at catching the highest bounties from clients from the top of the social food chain.

Guildmaster: The Guildmaster is the director and renown Head of the Bounty Hunter's Guild. It is the Guildmaster that chiefly represents the Guild Council, and organizes its meetings and schedules. He/She doesn't normally go out and catch bounties, since he/she makes money from the share of the bounty granted to the Guild Council by members of the Bounty Hunter's Guild who agreed to such a subscription. The Guildmaster is the master of the Bounty Hunter's Creed, and he/she should enforce its 7 principles. Though he/she doesn't go out and snatch bounties, he/she is often a highly regarded Bounty Hunter, who has already proven their worth for perhaps years and have earned their role as Guildmaster of the Bounty Hunter's Guild.

1.

Guild Councilor: The Guild Councilor is a part of the legislative body of the Bounty Hunter's Guild being the Guild Council. It is a Guild Councilor's duty to keep the Guildmaster in check, and balance the entire Guild evenly into a progressive system. Guild Councilors also serve as the advisers of the Guildmaster, and overseers of the Bounty Hunter's Guilds activities. It is often a Guild Councilor who directly, or informally presents himself to the members of the Bounty Hunter's Guild in order to keep the Guild as a progressive body.

1.

2.

Head of Household: The Head of a Household is literally the recognized leader of a Bounty Hunter House. It is there job to receive the available Bounties, and issue them to their House. They also are in charge of their Houses preparation for a Bounty, and if the House is hunting altogether, they serve as the Leaders who receive the most income from the Bounty, and is supposed to distribute it fairly with an incentive of their own. The Head of a Household is often recognized as the most skilled Bounty Hunter of their House and are often the targets of competition.

1.

2.

Bounty Hunter of the House: This rank is often regarded as "House [insert House name here] Bounty Hunter" and is the most common rank of Bounty Hunters who proudly serve their respected House. They are often the ones given the bulk of the Bounties distributed to them by their Head of Household. These Bounty Hunters are much unlike Bounty Hunter's outside of the Guild due primarily because they actually abide by a creed - giving them a sense of responsibility, and regard in the Galaxy.
